Handcrafted Elegance
Handcrafted elegance, these are THE best of the best and really quite remarkable to look at. They are not your mama’s Costco canvases. 🙂

A bit of history: We inherited photography from portrait painters who used canvas to create their masterpieces. These are my favorite thing to create for families because they are so beautiful. I spent a lot of time going to photography conferences, examining samples from different labs, looking for “the one” to represent my studio, and this was it. My crew builds everything by hand. The creation process is fascinating and I have shared a glimpse of that process below for curious minds.
Often described as “furniture for the wall,” each museum quality piece is completely unique and handmade. My canvases are intricately crafted; designed to compliment and to complete the space in which they hang. The creation process is key to their quality, and quite interesting to learn about! I work with a small business on the West Coast to create these one-of-a-kind pieces. Keep reading to see a behind-the-scenes look at how my Museum Canvases are made.

The process is really incredible to watch. Click the video to see how my guys do it!
Each piece is built by hand by master craftsmen and examined closely by me before it reaches your door. The canvas receives about 15 coats of acrylic lacquer which transforms your portrait into an original work of art. This clear coating both adds dimension to the artwork and provides protection against UV rays, fingerprints and everyday life. If your canvas gets dirty, simply wipe it with Windex or a damp cloth; this will not harm your artwork! Yeah, really! Watch my guy below eat dinner off one. 🙂
This is the guy who makes my canvases! Isn’t this hysterical?! It shows the true quality of the canvas, its durability, and yes; you really can eat spaghetti off of them or bat tennis balls back and forth. They are THAT well-made.
Choose a beautiful frame for your artwork or keep it simple with a 2″ gallery wrap. I will be glad to help you choose the right style for your space. Once your artwork is ready I will bring it to your door and help you install it on your walls.
I offer a variety of beautiful frames, built by hand from solid wood.
